Sir, The recent report on “head injury in paediatric” is very interesting.[1] In a study by Chinda et al., noted that “H1 among children is of a great concern, because of its incremental magnitude, due to increasing child labour and interstate religious discipleship among children, with attendant high mortality and permanent disabilities.[1]” In fact, the problem of improper care of paediatric head injury can be expected in any resource limited settings. The high mortality rate calls for urgent attention for proper management. An important problem is on child abuse. It is required to have a good plan to early detect the problem.[2] A study by Amaranath et al.,

Sir, The recent report on ultrasound diagnosis of varicocele is very interesting.[1] A study by Fiogbe et al. concluded that “varicocele is better studied by ultrasound.”[1] In fact, the ultrasound diagnosis can be useful non-invasive investigation. However, there are also some issues on its limitation. First, the inter-personal variation in interpretation of ultrasound result can be expected. Carlsen et al. in their study have reported that the estimated size of testes is varied by observer.[2] A study by Yuen et al. noted that “sources of error due to movements as a result of the subject being in the water African Journal of Paediatric Surgery
