Choi describes a novel approach to the treatment of recalcitrant melasma; On evaluates Q-switched laser treatment of dye induced Riehl’s melanosis. Cutaneous erythema presents itself in many ways. Goo looks at a 595nm/1064nm laser in the treatment of rosacea. Alves studies the treatment of striae with a fractional 1540nm laser. Clementoni finishes this

Journal segment looking, once again at striae, with the use of a novel 1565 nm laser. Carboxytherapy and radiofrequency have both been used for skin rejuvenation. Pinheiro takes a critical look at both of these popular approaches. This paper is followed by a study evaluating a combination of intense pulsed light and Er: YAG laser treatment of congenital nevi. Finally, Yuksel takes a comparative look at platelet collection efficiencies of 3 different PRP approaches. With the increasing popularity of these techniques, such evaluations are critical. Enjoy!
