Sir,?With reference to some lute remarks in your Gazette, I think it right, to mention that during the cholera epidemic at Peshawur, which prevailed last autumn, I tried solution of sulphurous acid in 9 cases of collapse, and that of these 7 This of course was too small a number of cases to recovered. enable me to judge safely of the eflect of this medicine in cholera, but the success which I obtained even in theee few cases, made me resolve to try it again in future so as to prove its real use. This letter is written to support the testimony lately given in favour of this acid, and to induce others to give it a trial. 1 am, Sir,
