Simultaneous Electronic and Small Format Photofluorographic Angiography 1 Julius H. Grollman, Jr., M.D., David Borger, and Charles Moler Monitoring the image onthetelevision screen during photofluorographic angiography is frequently difficultdueto the short exposure times. Adisk recorder hasbeen integrated with a 100mm rapid-sequence photofluorographic camera for useduring selected angiographic procedures. Each flashing image is automatically recordedonthediskrecorderand is then immediately replayedduring theinterval between exposures. It is these considerably longer, although minimallydelayed images, thatareviewedduringthestudy instead of theshort live image. "Panning" to followthe progression of the contrast bolus is facilitated. The recorded angiographic series maybe instantly replayed in stopmotion for immediate review. INDEX TERMS: Angiography, apparatus and equipment. Fluoroscopy, apparatus and equipment.
