Apothecaries two students appeared for the certificate of Apothecary. Both passed. Misses Jacobz and Gurdial Singh,

who failed at the examination last year, were after an interval of five months, re-examined in the subject in which they had failed and passed. Misses Govindurejooloo and Gurdial Singh had no sooner become qualified than they obtained employment under the Maisur Government as Assistant-Surgeons, on a liberal salary, and were appointed to the charge of hospitals for women and children in Bangalore and Maisur respectively. Miss D'Abrcau was appointed House Surgeon to the hospital in Lahore under Miss Beilley, but has returned to Madras to reappear for the M. B. examination next mouth, Miss Jacobz having proceeded to Lahore to relieve her.
