T

he Plastic Surgical Nursing Journal has had a facelift. At the Editorial Board meeting in San Diego, CA, last fall, it was discussed about the desire to update the journal design. Thank you to the creative department at PRRI for developing a professional, crisp, and branded cover for the journal. We are excited to announce that we now have four new departments for the journal. This will provide articles that will cover a more diverse number of topics within the plastic surgery field of nursing. The department chair position is a 2-year term. We are still looking for a chair for the Reconstruction Department. Tracey A. Hotta, RN, BScN, CPSN, CANS, is the Aesthetic Nurse Specialist for Dr. Mitchell Brown. Her passion for plastic surgery led her to be the first Canadian president of the American Society of Plastic Surgery Nurses and played an instrumental role in establishing the Canadian Society of Plastic Surgical Nurses. Tracey is actively involved at the local and national levels and is committed to the continued education for nurses and is an advocate for the consumer. Tracey currently holds the position as the editor of the Plastic Surgical Nursing Journal, on the Board of Directors of the Canadian Society of Plastic Surgical Nurses, and is the Director of Operations in Canada for AAI.
