Institute of Medical Chemistry, University of Medicine, H-4026 Debrecen, Bern t&r 18/B. Hungary (Received 21 March 1979) AMP-Sepharose binds phosphorylase b at its nucelotide site, whereas Blue Dextran Sepharose binds at its nucleoside one. 2. Nucleotide analogues and glucosed-phosphate elute phosphorylase b from AMP-Sepharose. 3. Both nucleotide and nucleoside analogues, and glucose and glucose-6-phosphate, elute phosphorylase b from Blue Dextran Sepharose. 4. Inosine, caffeine, glucose and glucose-6-phosphate fail to elute phosphorylase a from AMPSepharose.
