CORRECTION Harms of overoxygenation in patients with exacerbation of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease The commentary “Harms of overoxygenation in patients with exacerbation of chronic obstructive pulmonary diseases,”1 published on June 5, 2017, contained an error. The first statement of the Key points read, “Too much oxygen can be dangerous for patients with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) with (or at risk of) hypercapnia (partial pressure of oxygen in arterial blood more than 45  mm  Hg).” It should have read (change in italics), “Too much oxygen can be dangerous for patients with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) with (or at risk of) hypercapnia (partial pressure of carbon dioxide in arterial blood more than 45 mm Hg).” This has been corrected at cmaj.ca. ite as: CMAJ 2017 June 26;189:E872. nC doi: 10.1503/cmaj.170670
