painless way of removing an inapplication of lunar caustic, but as it does not appear to be generally known, I shall here describe it for the benefit of the profession. A solid piece of lunar caustic should he well applied daily over the whole of the affected nail, which, in a few days, wiil become sufficiently detached, so as to allow of its being removed easily with an ordinary dressing forceps.
