I am very pleased to announce two more additions to the editorial team at this journal. Jill Stinson joins us as a new Associate Editor, and Gwen Willis joins us as a new Editorial Board member. I would also like to draw attention to a new feature in the Sexual Abuse: A Journal of Research and Treatment (SAJRT) blog managed by Kieran McCartan, David Prescott, and Jon Brandt: http://sajrt.blogspot.com. The blog, which is affiliated with but independent of the journal, has introduced brief interviews with the lead authors of upcoming articles in the journal, including questions about the origins of the research, challenges that were faced, and key findings or implications. These interviews provide an opportunity to go “behind the scenes” of the published article, to find out more about the research process and the context for the research that is being reported. The inaugural interview was with Andrew Harris, who co-authored a study with Kelly Socia on the effects of a sex offender label on public perceptions (Harris & Socia, 2015). The second interview was with Kristen Zgoba, the first author of a study examining sex offender risk classification tiers (Zgoba et al., 2015). The most recent interview was with Franca Cortoni, who guest-edited this special issue on female sexual offending and discusses the context for having a special issue in SAJRT at this time. It is our hope that this new Q&A feature will provide additional background for published work and will be a useful resource for researchers at all career stages. Please let us know what you think of the interviews and others posts on the blog, as well as research appearing in the journal. You can follow us on Twitter: the journal (@SAJRT), the Editor in Chief (@MCSeto), outgoing Editor in Chief (@jamescantorphd), an Associate Editor (@profajharris), chief blogger (@kieranmc80), and the Association for the Treatment of Sexual Abusers (@MakeSocietySafe).
