Sir.?Can any of your readers inform me what the following letters, affixed to so many of the names of the members of the Indian Medical Association recently formed, refer to 1 G. M. C. B..?F. S. S. C., Loud..?F. C. P., Philad..? C. M. S.,-G. C. M. S. L.,? G.G. M C..? C. M. C. They are not recognised or referred to in the Medical Register or Directory as far as I know. I should also like to know if Apothecaries under the new rules are entitled to omit the Honorary before the rank of Surgeon-Captain and Surgeon-Lieutenant, and to place the letters I. M. S. after their titles ? M. the
