(b) When one leg goes in front of the other, it crosses over somewhat the other foot, and not unoften it strikes past the other or become entangled with it. Formerly, while walking the limbs struck against each other as in knock-knee, and she used to have thereby sores, but the friction is not so much now. Patient says:?About four years back, that is, six weeks after her third delivery, she was exposed to wet and got an attack of fever with oedema of lower limbs. For more than a month she was confined to bed, and all the lower and upper extremities were painful. This is an interesting case, representing a peculiar deviation from the normal harmony of the movements of the limbs, due to some nervous disorder. There are disorderly movements in chorea, but those movements have no regularity and are not confined to any particular set of muscles.
