Current Biomedicine and Pharmaceutics: Research and Applications
T
his supplementary issue on biomedicine and pharmaceutics Research and Applications of the Third International Conference on Biomedicine and Pharmaceutics (ICBP2015) is devoted to advances in the burgeoning interdisciplinary field of fundamental and applied biomedicine research, chemical and pharmaceutical industry, and the regulatory. As one of the few conferences at the forefront of fundamental and technical science, biological and medical disciplines, and pharmaceutics science technology, ICBP2015 aims to provide an opportunity for researchers, practitioners, and educators to exchange research evidence, practical experiences, and innovative ideas on issues related to biomedicine and pharmaceutics. It is a multidisciplinary conference that brings together academic and industrial scientists from medicine, biology, chemistry, informatics, and statistics. The articles submitted to ICBP2015 covered various issues and aspects of biochemical pharmacy, biomedical and medical informatics, pharmaceuticals in the environment, pharmaceutical enterprises management, pharmaceutical analysis, pharmaceutics

and drug delivery research, automatic intelligence in biomedicine, as well as biomedical materials. The conference has received more than 400 manuscripts, each submission was peer reviewed by at least 2 anonymous reviewers, and a total of 157 meeting abstracts and 16 extended abstracts were accepted as oral and poster presentation. Biomedicine and pharmaceutics refer to the field of science that represent the basis and advanced knowledge on life science. The development of comparative discipline continuously promotes the fusion of the medicine, biology, and pharmacology. Nowadays, a great many scientists around the world have kept scaling new heights in biomedicine and pharmaceutics after overcoming numerous obstacles through arduous efforts. In this context, new theory, technology, and achievement appeared one by one. We appreciate those efforts that many have made in the quest to advance scientific research and wish them achieve much more progress in their field. Here, the ICBP2015 committee is thankful, in particular, to the Journal of Investigative Medicine for publishing these selected abstracts in a supplementary issue presented in the conference.
