Treatment consisted of a volar splint for of 10 days, with complete resolution of his symptoms. Repeat roentgenograms showed no other abnormalities. a

The carpal lunate begins to ossify during the 4th 5th week of life. Occasionally, there are two ossification centers which may fuse or persist as two separate ossicles, giving rise to a bipartite lunate. With the large number of youngsters who or
