The Audiovisual Centre, University of London. I n this issue, we give information about material for medical education made at the University of London Audiovisual Centre. The Centre makes films, sound and video recordings, largely for the British Postgraduate Medical Federation of the University. A catalogue of biological and medical titles is currently being revised and will contain some 400 items. The Centre runs a loan and sale service for the University of London and most of the material is also available for medical educators elsewhere in the UK. Loan of material for 10 days or less costs $5.00 (free to the University of London); video and audio programmes can be purchased at f20.00 ($5.00 to the University of London) plus the cost of the tape. For hire or sale to commercial firms, or sale to overseas bodies, prices are available on request. Pi-ogrammes cannot be loaned or hired overseas. Video recordings can be copied onto most formats in use (NOT the Philips 1700 series). Enquiries and orders should be sent to: The Administrative Secretary, Audiovisual Centre, University of London, 11 Bedford Square, London WClB 3RA. Telephone: London 636 3104. With the exception of ‘How Special’ all the titles below are video recordings.
