A 10-year-old boy with no medical history was brought to our emergency room with intractable dyspnea and chest pain. There were no exterior signs of trauma or infectious symptoms, only lower intensity of the vesicular murmur at the left lung. Chest computed tomography showed an atypical aneurysm of the ascending aorta and aortic arch, which almost entirely compressed the left lung. Funding This research received no specific grant from any funding agency in the public, commerical, or not-for-profit sectors.

Conflict of interest statement Figure 1. Chest computed tomography in axial view, showing a significant aortic arch aneurysm and compression of the left lung.
