AORN SURGICAL CONFERENCE & EXPO HIGHLIGHTS

“E

xcellence” was the theme of the AORN Surgical Conference & Expo 2015, which was held in Denver, Colorado, March 7 to 11. The 62nd annual conference hosted the inaugural Leadership Development Summit and the second OR Executive Summit, featured hundreds of exhibitors in the Exhibit Hall, and offered a variety of stimulating education sessions and General Sessions. Congress activities were scheduled throughout the conference to address the business of the association and allow for candidate voting. In addition, the conference provided a number of special Foundation-sponsored events, including the Race for Patient Safety 5K Run/3K Walk, the “Gold Rush Party,” and the Silent Auction. The following pages include highlights from the conference activities.
