adapter ring is not commercially available but figure 4 shows the technical data necessary so that it can be easily and inexpensively fabricated. Through special processing techniques the electronic flash generator, a major investment, becomes optional. If a flash generator is to be used the photograph is taken at ¼o of a second using daylight high speed Ektachrome film and normal processing. If the routine fiberoptic light source is to be used then tungsten high speed Ektachrome film is used with an exposure time varying from ½s to ½o of a second, depending on the distance between the lens and the object being photographed. With the routine light source development time of the first developer is extended to 20 minutes. This may be accomplished by arrangement with your local film processor or by using one of the available commercial processing kits. If a single lens reflex camera is owned a microscope lens can probably be purchased for about $60 and can be used for cystoscopic photographs. If not, a good single lens reflex camera that can double as endoscopic photographic equipment can be purchased for about $360.
