of the 4th January 18?2, of an old pensioner, was brought to me, said to be suffering from For worms, having that morning passed three. in some days before she her uneasy appeared sleep, tossing and turning about in bed with uucomfortable abdominal symptoms. She was ordered pulv. jalapa co. gr. x. that night, to be followed by santonine gr. v. ou the following morning. On the 6th January she passed 32 worms. On the 7 th January she passed 107 worms. On the 8th January she passed 46 worms. On the eveniug of the 9th another jalap powder was administered, followed by a dose of santonine as before. Ou the 11th she passed 15 worms. On the 12th she passed 2 worm3, making a total of 205 worms in all. I am assured by the father that his wife and daughter both counted the worms most carefully, and that they were all of the same kind, though they varied much in size, E.
